庫德人在川口市生活、成家、立業。有一天，網路上突然開始出現鋪天蓋地的仇恨——「暴動！」「恐怖分子！」「滾出日本！」日本NHK分析逾兩千五百萬則相關貼文，追溯來源、逐一查核真偽，才發現：仇恨並非自然蔓延，而是被刻意製造出來的。
“Rioting Kurds!”, “Get out of Japan!”, “Terrorists!” These are just some of the inflammatory posts that have flooded social media about Kurdish residents of the Japanese city of Kawaguchi. When NHK analysed these posts together with experts, the number exceeded 25 million, showing a dramatic surge after April 2023. Previously, posts had focused on everyday issues such as noise problems. But from April 2023, they became more extreme and spilled into real life. People began demonstrating publicly against the Kurds and even threatening them.
What exactly was happening?
NHK identified the topics of social media posts at times when posters showed heightened activity, interviewed the posters, and checked whether their assertions were true. What emerged was a disturbing picture of how online discourse becomes radicalised.
In this investigative documentary, NHK plays its role as a public broadcaster by confronting online discourse head-on and delving into its origins.

He started his career at NHK in 2006. He has produced documentaries on topics such as disaster medicine, poverty, labor issues, and foreign technical trainees. Recently, he produced a series of programs exposing the dark side of mental healthcare in Japan. He has received many awards, both domestic and international.
